High School Chorus Director
Jenna Coon is the choral director at Cherokee Bluff High School in Flowery Branch, Georgia. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Brenau University, where she graduated summa cum laude, and a Masters in Music Education from UGA. Mrs. Coon’s passion is growing thriving choral programs where she can invest in students' futures as both passionate musicians and outstanding citizens. Teaching since 2011, she has led the choral program at Cherokee Bluff High School since 2020. She has served in leadership capacities at the school level, as well as in GMEA District 14, where she currently serves as District Choral Chair. When she is not teaching, Mrs. Coon sings in the professional treble choir, Lux, volunteers at The Humane Society, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. She is happiest when at home with her husband Adam, Bekah, and their eight pets.

Middle School Chorus Director
Emily Allison is the choral director at Cherokee Bluff Middle School. She graduated magna cum laude from Piedmont College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. She graduated again in 2008 with a Masters of Arts in Music Education during which time she served as the Graduate Assistant. Mrs. Allison taught at East Hall Middle School from 2008-2020 where she was selected as the 2019-2020 Teacher of the Year.
In her time at Cherokee Bluff, Mrs. Allison was named as the 2025-2026 Teacher of the Year, the 2025-2026 Hall County Teacher of the Year, and the 2025 District 14 Music Educator of the Year.
When she is not teaching, she enjoys working as the children's director at Jefferson First United Methodist Church, directing Lux, the professional Treble Chorus of Northeast Georgia, and spending time with her husband and two kids. She is an avid reader and a fresh flower enthusiast!
